Setup Guide

Get up and running in minutes. Choose your product below and follow the steps.

Requirements

Before you start, make sure your setup meets the following requirements.

Download the Loader

Download the 2LT Loader from the link provided in your purchase ticket or the members channel on Discord. Run the loader on the controller PC (not the game PC).

⚠ Always download from the official Discord link. Loader updates are applied automatically on launch — you will always run the latest version.

Sign In & Activate

Launch the loader as Administrator. On the Sign In screen, enter the username and password you created when redeeming your license. If this is your first time, click Register and enter your license key to create an account.

Username  →  choose any username
Password  →  choose a password
Key       →  your 2LT DMA license key

Configure Hardware Mouse (Optional)

If you're using a KmBox or Makcu for hardware aim output, connect it to the controller PC via USB before launching. In the loader's Aim settings, enable Use Mouse Device and select your device from the dropdown.

ℹ Hardware mouse is optional. Memory-based aim works without any additional hardware.

Launch

Start Destiny 2 on the game PC. Once past the character select screen and in-game, click Launch in the 2LT Loader. The DX11 overlay will appear on the controller PC's display within a few seconds.

ℹ The overlay renders on the controller PC. For single-PC setups, it appears as a transparent window over the game.

Disable Windows Defender

These Windows Defender settings must be turned off before running 2LT External. Open Windows Security from the Start menu and follow each step below.

1 — Real-time Protection
Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → turn off Real-time protection
2 — Cloud Protection
Same page → turn off Cloud-delivered protection
3 — Automatic Sample Submission
Same page → turn off Automatic sample submission
4 — Tamper Protection
Same page → turn off Tamper protection. This prevents Windows from automatically re-enabling the settings above.
5 — Memory Integrity
Device Security → Core isolation details → turn off Memory integrity
6 — Vulnerable Driver Blocklist
Same page → turn off Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist
⚠ Reboot after disabling Memory Integrity and the Vulnerable Driver Blocklist before continuing.

Disable Secure Boot

2LT External requires Secure Boot to be disabled. Reboot into your BIOS/UEFI settings and disable Secure Boot. The exact steps vary by motherboard manufacturer — check your manual or search your board model.

ℹ Common path: BIOS → Security → Secure Boot → Disabled. Save and exit.

Launch

Start Destiny 2. Once past the character select screen and in-game, click Launch in the loader. The overlay will appear within a few seconds.

ℹ If launch fails, verify that Secure Boot is disabled and that you are running the loader as Administrator.

Common questions.

Answers to the most common setup questions.

Any FPGA-based PCIe DMA card that supports the pcileech/MemProcFS interface is compatible. Common options include Squirrel, Enigma, and similar. 2LT does not sell or supply DMA hardware.
Yes — 2LT External requires Secure Boot to be disabled on each boot. You can re-enable Secure Boot when not using 2LT External, but it must be off before launching.
Updates are applied automatically every time you launch the loader. If a new version is available, it downloads, verifies, and applies itself before the main UI loads — no manual action required.
